For the most complex credit management transactions – particularly for UTPs – CBA is able to offer an overview of the legal, tax and financial aspects related to each dossier. To this end, CBA established a specific practice dedicated to Non-Performing Exposures (NPE), both UTP and NPL, consisting of:

• lawyers with different expertise
  (Litigation, Banking, Corporate Crisis, M&A – Corporate, Real Estate);
• accountants carrying out both tax and financial analysis for credit management and recovery.

CBA serves its clients throughout the entire of NPE portfolio management (both secured and unsecured), from the acquisition to the subsequent phases of out-of-court debt renegotiation or credit recovery, up to the potential repossession/disposal of the collateral assets or the transfer of receivables to third parties.

CBA provides advice in any activity (even those highly demanding) that may include:

• negotiations with several counterparties;
• operations aimed at debt restructuring;
• structuring (also in terms of tax efficiency) of asset reorganisation and/or disposals.
